Camille Hearst, founder of Kit, steps on to the New York Launch Pod to discuss her Tne platform for people to recommend the products they love to use.

Everyone has been there. If you start a new activity, interest or hobby, you try to search on Amazon for the best products. Do you get the one with the best reviews or the best seller? You can spend an endless amount of time trying to figure out what is the best product and by the end you aren’t sure if you have everything you need. Kit seeks to solve this problem.

On Kit, users create packages of their favorite products which are based on interest. People can then search by interest for various Kits from people who they trust and purchase the products directly from retailers including Amazon. Creators of Kits (who include Tim Ferris, Casey Neistat and Gary Vaynerchuk) are able to keep 100% of any affiliate revenues they generate.

The premise behind Kit is not to make people accumulate more “stuff” but to get the best products for what they need. Camille calls Kit, “The modern day peer-to peer social version of helping people help each other be self-sufficient, enrich their lives, find the tools that they need. “
